Eric Niderost is an instructor of history at Chabot College in Hayward, California. A freelance author, he has published nearly 300 articles on American and European history.  He has also co-authored the book "Civil War Firsts".  Available through our on-line store:

Eric also wrote the short story of the Battle of Marignano.  This is the battle, that in 1515, Martin Niderost fought and died.
